Robert has always been into making things, especially with his son. “Let’s make it,” is heard pretty routinely around the Hendrickson household.
Robert’s interest in carving signs started with a desktop CNC machine; his first project was a family wedding gift — a monogrammed corn hole board.
That was just the beginning. Robert’s first significant project was an Airforce security police badge — a group he knew well since he was in Airforce security himself — first year at McCord and a year in Turkey. He also served at the Luke Airforce base in Glendale, AZ.
Robert is now happily focused on creating badges. For him, they tell a story, just like the patches and badges his father wore as a police dispatcher.
