Spent all day picking up a couple loads of wood. A couple trips to Mason Lake. Note the two sheets of 2 1/4 inch thick plywood. I have never seen plywood like that.
My latest project. A Montreal Canadians hockey themed cribbage board. Made from Padauk and Maple with my Legacy Maverick CNC router. The inlay is Padauk and Purple Heart. The inlay and retired jerseys were done with an Epilog laser.
Did several license plates!
The last project came down to the final day. I was struggling with inspiration for a young lady who is a horse rider. This is a gift from her grandparents. I finished it Christmas Eve and delivered it. I was able to see the recipient’s react
This Client wanted a cutting board for his wife.
When asked to make something that will be a gift I want to exceed the client’s expectations. Delivered this yesterday. It will be a gift to the Client’s son.

Colville Confederated Tribal Police badge carved in cherry. The young man who received this badge graduated from the Criminal Justice Training Center yesterday. This badge was a gift from a very proud Mom.
Kennewick Police badge carved in Cherry. This will be a Christmas gift to the Officer from his Father.
They sure look different after having oil applied.
Finishing up some Washington State Patrol badges. A few are ready to ship and a couple need finish applied.
Something new from the shop. Commissioned to make this equipment shelf that will be presented as a gift. Now to get back to the pending orders.
Seven of the eight have been cut out.
I have worked with the recipient of this badge several times on the Major Crimes Task Force. He recently took a position with the Snoqualmie Police Department. One of his staff asked me to make this for him. Congratulations Captain Lynch.
This is the first piece I have done going to the State of Texas.
My carvings don’t normally need much cleaning up. However, sometimes there is no control over the wood. A few of the tools used to clean off the fuzz!
Another Padauk and Ash woods flag. This one is 24 x 44. I was going to do it as a blue line flag, however, I wanted to dye the blue instead of paint. I ran out of time to figure out the dye process. Hope to sand and apply the finish tonight.
The projects have been removed from the silicone molds. They need to be milled to the final thickness. From there lots of sanding and polishing. Hopefully I have time. It may make for some late nights..
